new do

ok, is it just me or does my hair look like a wig in this photo? i swear, this is my real hair!!! oddly enough, this is not the only photo with the "wig" effect.

when vince saw my new 'do, he asked if i had dyed it - he said it looked blacker than normal. now looking at the photo, i can see it's true. my hair does look a lot blacker. weird. maybe that's why it looks like a wig.

thinking about it further, it must be because most of my top layer of hair (the layer that was streaked brown by the sun) was cut off to create the bangs. yeah, that must be it.

i got my hair cut today!!! i've been waffling for literally years about whether to get bangs. should i? shouldn't i? i cut them myself a number of years ago but didn't wear them down too often but still i wondered. should i? shouldn't i?
