insatiable

i used to be a major bookworm. i would cozy up in bed right after school and read nonstop until the sun came up. there are so many distractions now though that i usually only read a few pages at a time and it can take weeks - if not months - for me to finish a book.

not so with the hunger games.

this is one of those books that i could not put down. i even brought it to work so i could sneak in a paragraph here and there. but i ended up leaving the book closed because i knew i would not be able to limit myself. plus i wouldn't do the book any justice by reading it in snippets. so i took a quick lunch break to take in a chapter with my eager and then devoured the rest of the book when i got home.

the next day, i read the second book in the trilogy.

i absolutely cannot wait for my flight on saturday. i have grand plans to bury my nose in mockingjay and not look up again until we land.
