for the love of shoes

on any given monday, i can think of a variety of excuses to stay wrapped up in my cozy covers. it's so much warmer in here. just one more snooze. the carpet at work hurts my eyes. what finally pulled me out of bed this morning was the thought of my grey ankle booties, which i had left under my desk over the holidays for 10 whole days. and that was far too long to be away from them.
